What saith the word?
Top 10 Reasons Premillennialism Is False3/31/2016 I mentioned Premillennialism last Sunday in a sermon and thought I should give a summary for you to keep. Premillennialism has many views, but in general is the teaching that God did not accomplish what was prophesied in the Old Testament, and therefore Christ will return for a “do over” where he will establish an earthly kingdom before his final return. All scripture is inspired and does not contradict other scripture, and I have included a few of the many verses which show this man made doctrine is not found in the Bible.

What about the book of Revelation? The word was given to John from God. Rev 1:1-2 God => Jesus => Angel => John=> to the paper. John was supposed to write down what he saw and not interpret what he saw. Premillennialism (Pre) looks at the literal compared to the figurative. The church Fathers believed in Pre vs Am. It looks like Augustine in 400s AD is the father of Am. Also, as the church moved away from Jewish customs and more towards Greek we see a move from Pre- to Am. -- Revelation 20 speak on the literal 1000 years. IF it wasn't literal, then why say 1000 years 6 times Rev 20:1-7. It doesn't seem to be figurative but more literal. -Doesn't amillennialism believe Satan was bound at the Cross? Where in the scriptures is this found? If so, then what about the demons seen later in the passages Acts 5:16,Acts 8:7, Act 16 & 19, then, we have Eph 6:10-12. Seemed like Satan still had influence after the Cross. Rev 20:1-3 speaks of Satan not having any influence during the 1000 years. So if Satan had influence right after the Cross, then, when was he supposed to no longer have influence?
